Terms and disclaimer
The rules for using this website, and what it is and is not.
About this website
This website is run by The Apostolic Order Of Simon Peter; Blade-Bearer (“the Order”), a religious association based in South Australia. By using it you agree to these terms.
Information only, not legal advice
The legal letter, the thesis and all other material on this website are advocacy and general information. They set out arguments for one point of view. They are not legal advice, and no lawyer-client relationship is created by reading or using this website. Please obtain independent legal advice about your own situation before you rely on anything here.
No exemption from the law
Membership of the Order does not itself give any person a legal exemption, immunity or defence. Members are required to obey the law, including the laws that govern carrying knives and other articles in public places, schools, airports, courts and licensed venues.
Accuracy
We try to keep the material accurate and current, but laws and cases change and we make no promise that it is complete or up to date. Check every provision and case against the current official legislation and law reports.
Membership and the members page
Membership is open to adults who follow Christ and who accept the Order’s code of conduct. We may decline or end a membership where a person breaks the code or misuses the Order’s name. The public members page shows only what each member has chosen to show. See our privacy notice.
Gifts
Gifts to the Order are voluntary. The Order is not yet incorporated and is not a registered charity, so gifts are not tax-deductible and no tax receipt is issued. Gifts are applied as described on our support page. Cryptocurrency transfers cannot be reversed.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of South Australia, and you submit to the courts of South Australia.
